The notion of iteration, and small units building something complex, is of course closely involved with the process and rhythm of stitching, and runs through this piece at all levels. This time-based works is derived from virtually stitching both back, and running stitch; these stitches do not exist in a material or conventional sense, but only as a digital image where their complete structure has been made visible using technology. Both still and time-based aspects have been abstracted and used to develop seven, thirty second films, each of which explore issues concerned with repetition.
